The Hong Kong Security Association 2021 Awards
The Annual Awards 2021 was launched in April 2021. The period for the awards ran from 15 March 2020 to 15 April, 2021.
This year, 2 categories of Awards were conducted; namely Security Guarding Awards ( Type 1 Services), and “Best Innovative Security Product of the year, 2020” award ( Type 4 Award).
(A) Member company, WAMA Technology won the “Best Innovative Security Product of the Year, 2020” The award is granted based on the originality and extensive applications of the product, and leads other similar product in quality and performance.
Brief introduction of the awarded product :
WAMA WZ2-P210 is a wireless camera that can be rapidly deployable anywhere and anytime without requiring any cable installations. The camera comes with built-in rechargeable battery, 4G mobile connectivity, GPS, two-way audio/video intercom, 10x optical zoom, and it can be remotely monitored through the WAMA cloud platform. This solution eliminates the complexities and high costs of installing CCTV cameras in areas where power and network are not readily available, or for temporary usages. It is suitable for many different applications such as for law enforcement patrol surveillances, public safety in major events, construction sites, recreational parks, remote areas etc…

(B) 12 guards from our guarding membership were awarded a cash cheque of $1,000 and a Certificate. ( Please refer to the list below):
The awards were assessed on the guard’s performance in an incident. The following factors are vital to the assessment
a. Bravery displayed in the incident,
b. professionalism in the handling the incident,
c. sense of responsibility,
d. initiation, and
e. organizational ability demonstrated.
