Qualifications Framework Award Scheme for Learning Experiences Now Open for Applications

Encouraging industry practitioners to seize the opportunity for continuous learning and broader exposure

The 2026 Qualifications Framework Award Scheme for Learning Experiences is now open for applications from 18 March to 31 May 2026.

The scheme provides fixed-sum awards to encourage and support awardees in participating in industry-related learning activities held in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong. Through these learning opportunities, practitioners can broaden their horizons, enhance their professional knowledge and skills, and promote continuous learning and talent development within the industry.

Recommended industry-related learning activities have already been uploaded to the relevant Qualifications Framework webpage. Industry practitioners and organisations are encouraged to learn more about the scheme and support eligible practitioners in applying.

Fixed-sum Awards

• HK$10,000 for participation in learning activities held in Hong Kong
• HK$30,000 for participation in learning activities held outside Hong Kong

Eligibility
Applicants must:

• be Hong Kong residents with the right of abode, the right to land, or the right to remain in Hong Kong without any conditions of stay;
• be current practitioners in the relevant industry; and
• possess at least one valid Qualifications Framework-recognised qualification, including:
  • Qualification from a continuing education programme
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) qualification
  • Professional qualification
